DESCRIPTION
Bangkirai is one of the world’s most durable hardwoods, providing a lifetime low-maintenance deck. It is also extremely resistant to termite attack and decay fungi. Wood texture ranges from fine to sometimes coarse with a glossy surface, due to its straight or interlocked grains.

COLOUR RANGE
The heartwood of Bangkirai is brownish yellow, the sapwood yellowish pale light brown. The radial section shows stripes in a lighter colour.

COLOUR CHANGE
Bangkirai decking can be sealed (using a penetrating oil sealer) to show it’s natural reddish-brown color & grain appearance; or if left alone, turns silver gray.
