Amazonian Birch is a dense, cream-colored wood. medium gold tan colour. Amazonian Birch has distinctive “curl” markings. Amazonian Birch undergoes steaming treatment to give it a medium gold tan colour.

COLOUR RANGE
Amazonian Birch offers a medium range of color variability, colors of the heartwood can be found. ranging from pale cream colors to yellowish cream tones. In the lower grades, the darker tan/brown.

COLOUR CHANGE
Amazonian Birch undergoes a medium degree of color change, range found when freshly sanded. with a slight ambering over time to a more golden cream color and with a muting of the colour.
